About the Artist
Christine Linson is a Fairhope, Alabama, artist known for paintings and prints celebrating the town’s familiar landmarks and coastal surroundings. In 1998, a visit to Fairhope inspired her to leave her longtime home in Cleveland, Ohio, and settle in the community, where she opened the Christine Linson Gallery.
Her work spans impressionistic landscapes and abstract paintings in oil, large floral watercolors, charcoal figure drawings, and custom house portraits. Her Fairhope scenes have appeared in more than one hundred note card and print designs, along with limited-edition Christmas cards and ornaments.
Linson’s depictions of the Fairhope Pier, downtown clock, waterfront, and other local places offer collectors a lasting connection to the community. Her artwork is featured at Gallery by the Bay in downtown Fairhope.
