About the Artist
Bill Wismar is an award-winning Fairhope jewelry artist and goldsmith whose career began in 1976 as an apprentice under his father. Raised on the Texas Gulf Coast, he developed an appreciation for natural forms and traditional craftsmanship that continues to influence his designs.
Bill combines organic shapes with contemporary style, creating jewelry he views as miniature sculptures. Working with precious metals and carefully selected gemstones, he designs substantial, wearable pieces intended to be cherished and passed down through generations.
His work has earned numerous Alabama jewelry-design awards and national recognition, including First Place in his category at the Jewelers of America Affiliate Design Competition in 2009. His jewelry reflects a commitment to originality, craftsmanship, and lasting beauty.
